Our Classes

This class is designed to improve strength, conditioning, and mobility. Our strength endurance class will provide you with a full body workout that maximizes your time so that you can see and feel real results quickly and efficiently.

Strength endurance
lower body strength

Our dedicated and experienced trainers will guide you through proper form and technique so that you can achieve the highest performance possible. Not only will your legs and core become stronger, but you will also leave feeling sweaty and accomplished.

cardio Endurance

These workouts are for individuals who want to learn how to push themselves to, and beyond, their physical and mental limits. Endurance training is a great addition to a healthy fitness plan.

Upper body strength

During this class, we will show you how to safely and effectively improve your overall upper body strength. Are you interested in increasing strength and muscle definition in your upper body? Then sign up for this class today!

tabata

This class features an interval style training system that gets you to work intensely for 20 seconds, followed by a 10 second rest. Tabata training will raise your metabolism and heart rate in no time.

Metabolic conditioning

Metabolic conditioning is a method of training that involves a very high work rate. Using full body exercises, these classes are designed to burn more calories during your workout and maximize calories burned after your workout.

Our Team

Steven Murphy

After completing a Degree in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University in 2014, Steven became a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Personal Training Network (CPTN) and worked for a large chain fitness company in Nova Scotia. After learning the foundations of training, he moved to Alberta in 2015 and focused his approach on functional fitness.

Steven values community-building through shared accountability, motivation, and humour. In building his company, Steven focused on these core values as the pillars for Alberta Strength & Fitness, which was established in 2017. Since then, Steven has continued to expand the company by opening his own facility, adding additional contracted trainers to his team, and increasing his capacity to serve the residents of Parkland County and Edmonton. When he is not working, you can find Steven hiking in the Rockies.

Julianne Sage
